Who We Are
We are a group of foster care
alumni and our
allies who live in Florida. Our primary goal is to connect the community of people who have the shared experience of having lived in foster care, kinship care, or other out-of-home placement. Together we will also use our expertise in order to transform the lives of people in and from foster care.
Looking for a Few Good Members
There are reportedly 12 million foster care alumni in America. If you are an adult who spent any of your childhood in an out-of-home placement we are looking for you. If your experience "in the system" taught you not only how to survive, but thrive, we are looking for you. If your expertise, contacts, innovative ideas, and positive attitude can help us grow our group, we are looking for you.
Have you ever watched a crime report on TV and heard the phrase "Former Foster Child"? If the thought came to mind, "Not all foster kids turn out that way" then maybe it's time we all got to together to change the perception of former foster children. Information Request Form
